New Moon Sat Jan 27-28th

The first New Moon of 2017 is upon us. We are entering a whole new era as you can see. Each of the twelve annual New Moon's gives us a chance to start anew, to clear the past and make movement in a new direction. The first New Moon in Aquarius is the sign of Uranus and is a brilliant, forward thinking, revolutionary sign. Known as the Water Bearer (note its water like glyph - to wiggly lines representing waves) , the Aquarius person goes out into the world to make the world a better place. This kicks off our year for societal changes. We must step up to the plate and be part of the revolution that will herald in the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius. Yes folks, this is it. In the 60's they sang about it, and the Vietnam War, Women's Rights, Black Rights and the Environment all took front and center in issues that needed fixing. People fought for these rights, and we have come full circle to fight for them, and more, again. And that fight always take a protagonist. Someone so very much like what we don't want the world to be inspires us to push back and make changes that needed making before the catalyst showed up. Make your resolutions; listen to your dreams; write down your ideas; join organizations who fight for your beliefs and enable them to push ahead; go to church and pray for the world; give thanks for all that you have; and ask that the Universe and your Higher Guides to lead you to the place you are meant to go, so you can make a difference and finally feel like you are in sync with your real purpose for being here, and are now being called to action. These are stressful, but magical, times.

However this New Moon is also brining into focus the T-Square that is agitating us most of this year. Jupiter, expansion of stress and revolution in this case; Uranus, revolt, change; anxiety; Pluto power struggles - all squaring each other, and the Aquarius New Moon shining a light on change, and gearing up for the eclipses in February. this New Moon is also trine to Jupiter and Uranus, giving you the courage to move forward, inspiring you. This is an awesome day if you tune into its energy. You may finally discover your path and purpose if you ask for it!

Just a couple of hours after the exact eclipse at 8 degrees Aquarius, Mars, our energy and drive, moves into Aries, its home and infuses Mars with great strength and power, giving us the energy we need to make the changes, join the movement; turn a corner. Spend the next few weeks using this energy for progress. You can rest in April! 

Make this a day of friends and celebration; a day to be Thankful; a day to review your relationships and move toward loving and healing being a major part of your life vs. stress; a day of asking the Universe for guidance and a day of LISTENING to your heart and head for input, inspiration and courage. The adventure has begun - make the most of it.
